Weekly Tribes Put Yourself on the Line

Put yourself on the line…or a variation thereof.

Have some ‘extreme’ questions.

Here are some examples:

Would you rather have a different skin color or a different hair color?

Would you rather have recess and lunch or a shorter school day?

Would you rather have a lot of money or be really famous?

Would you rather go to college after high school or own your own business?

Design questions that will generate good discussion, and maybe even some that reflect on what students THINK they know as opposed to what is fact…like a fact vs. opinion lesson.

Keep it short and productive.  If students enjoy it, then give it a longer shelf life and have them come up with some question suggestions.

Use it at a staff meeting with an issue that needs to be discussed or decided.
