You know the old game…and you’ve done it before…but lately?  Just as good a visual as ‘peer response huddle’ for getting a group together to think, choose some content-based and challenging categories.

Example: Poetry (April is national poetry month!)

Categories:  type of poem – poet – alliteration – poetic term – feminine rhyme – masculine rhyme

As always, keep it short so they are successful and want more, and REFLECT!
