Weekly Tribes 2013 – “Estimating Energizers”

These are great ways to break up the sitting and listening (and testing?!) durations.

Ask a question, have students share their ‘estimations’ in pairs or small groups, then allow students to perform it.

Here are a few suggestions:

How many times can you sit down and stand up in 35 seconds?

How many times can you blink your eyes in 15 seconds?

How many times can you stick your tongue out in 30 seconds?

How many times can you snap your fingers in 22 seconds?

How many times can you touch you toes in 15 seconds?

How many times can you flap your arms like a bird in 40 seconds?

(You get the idea?!)
