Weekly Tribes – Power of Perception

This is adapted from Dera, another online student!  It is all about perception.  Perception can play a huge role in how students treat one another and here is a quick way to reflect on that.

Give each student a photo and have each decide what the person in the photo might be thinking or saying. Write that on a post-it note and pass it on.  Each time the photo and post-it(s) change hands, the feelings, thoughts, or words need to change as well.

After three or four rounds, reflect on the possibilities.  Then reflect on what students can do, instead of going with what they perceive.
