Weekly Tribes May 2017: Weather Report

Just like the ‘Where Do I Stand’ strategy in your Tribes book, this is an exercise in metaphor.

What’s is the weather like…

  • after the weekend
  • in your group/tribe
  • in terms of (one of ) the agreements
  • at this point in the school year, compared to the beginning of the school year
  • in terms of your understanding of…
  • in the school/hallways/playground

This can be a community circle, an exercise in adjectives, or a quick writing assignment.  

Example:  Write one sentence using three adjectives, an adverb, and a semicolon – What is your personal “weather report” for today?  Why?

And, it is a great reflective practice as well!
